Welcome to our pets page. We currently (13/Mar/2005) have four pets.
The oldest is our third cat (shown top picture), Two of Nine (A borg, we have been assimilated!). He's an orange cat a lot like our second cat Garfield (second picture), who disappeard a few years ago.
The second oldest pet we have is Bob, a gerbil. Bob was purchased with Steve, and the two were named after Bob Crane of Hogan's Heroes and Steve was named after Steve McQueen for his Great Escape role - you can see where we're going with this naming scheme. They were bound and determined to escape at any cost. Unfortunately - Steve got caught in something in his cage one night and suffered a painful-looking death. We got Bob a new cage and he's still percolating along.
Bad news, After entertaining us for a few years, Bob has gone to join Steve in Gerbil Heaven. He died peacefully in his sleep after a long bout of arthritis and not as cat food which I always suspected he might end up. Boots and John were the hardest hit with the sorrow of his passing. He will be missed.
We got Boots for free in June of 2001. Also known as Psycho-kitty, Boots is just about as funny as they get. Her favorite pastime is watching Bob, looking down out the window at all the Little People (you), and generally running down the halls after leaping over the old man Two.
Scooter is the latest cat we got and she is even zanier than Boots if that's possible! She does weird non-cat stuff like sleeping on her back and hunting anything whether it moves or does not have any life in it at all. Scooter was found in a garbage can here in the city and was very close to death but thanks to some tender care she now entertains us daily.
The newest addition is our Siamese Fighting Fish Big Red. He is another one on Boots and Scooters' things to eat list. Unfortunately Crash died and he has since been replaced as TV for Cats.
